Can the Aviassist Foundation finance our project?
The Aviassist Foundation was founded to act as a catalyst, assisting aviation organisations in meeting international aviation safety requirements. The Aviassist Foundation does not fund projects of other organisations as such. The AviAssist Foundation may be able to suggest sources of funding for your requirements.
How can I enroll in the AviAssist Foundation's traineeship program?
At present, the AviAssist Foundation only takes in trainees from Zambia where the AviAssist Foundation regional representation is housed. Various logistical issues make it difficult to take in trainees from outside Zambia at this point in time. That may change in due time. Because the coaching of a trainee is quite labour intensive, only one trainee at a time is taken on. We would be happy, however, to send you documentation that may help you better appreciate the relevance of aviation (safety) to African development or that may help you prepare for a thesis or research paper on African aviation at your college or university.
