The independent AviAssist Foundation identifies threats to aviation safety, analyses the problems and works on practical solutions to them. The Foundation provides pro-active safety support to aviation organisations in the 22 States of the ICAO East and Southern African (ESAF) region. It is the regional affiliate of the Flight Safety Foundation.
As a nonprofit organisation, the AviAssist
Foundation is reliant on support from governments, corporations, individuals,
foundations as well as fees for services. Your organisation
can contribute to aviation safety improvements in Africa. This can be through
financial support, providing expertise to the Foundation or promoting the

The Foundation works in line and co-ordination with the Comprehensive Regional Implementation Plan for Aviation Safety in Africa (ACIP) from the International Civil Aviation Organisation ( ICAO).
